Students, please follow this tutorial to create an artwork with cut-out text.  Use your own photographs.  You should be finished by the end of class Tuesday, 10-18-16, so that we can build on this assignment the following day.  

Good morning, students.  Use the Feldman Art Criticism Method to evaluate FOUR of the photos below.  There are four categories that you need to address for each photo--answer EACH question below for FOUR photos.  Turn your paper in to Mrs. McKinney.  Have an art-filled weekend!

Description - Describe what you see in the photo.  These are the visual qualities of the photo.

Analysis - How does the artist create a center of interest?  How does the use of color impact the painting?  What elements of art stand out--line, color, space, shape, texture, or value?

Interpretation - What do you think the photo means? What was the artist trying to communicate? What clues do you see that support your ideas?

Evaluation - What is the strength or weakness of the photo?
