Good morning, students. Use the Feldman Art Criticism Method to evaluate FOUR of the photos below. There are four categories that you need to address for each photo--answer EACH question below for FOUR photos. Turn your paper in to Mrs. McKinney. Have an art-filled weekend!
Description - Describe what you see in the photo. These are the visual qualities of the photo.
Analysis - How does the artist create a center of interest? How does the use of color impact the painting? What elements of art stand out--line, color, space, shape, texture, or value?
Interpretation - What do you think the photo means? What was the artist trying to communicate? What clues do you see that support your ideas?
Evaluation - What is the strength or weakness of the photo?
