For this assignment you will be paired with another student in the class. Students will work under the studio lights in the darkroom, taking photos of each other. The successful photo will capture an expression and mood and also be technically accurate. Partners will be determined by the instructor, Mrs. Huneycutt. While you are waiting for your turn in the darkroom, work on your sketchbook assignment!!! ![]() Unlike expressive lines, directional lines are very precise. Lines in this assignment should all be the same thickness. These lines should look like they are bending and overlapping. These lines are calculated, constant, and even.
One of my former students, Stacye Jones, a graduate of New World School of the Arts in Miami, has a sweet design business of her own. Check out her worksite here along with a sample design project she recently completed. |
